Role of Centrally-Acting and Opioid Analgesics in Dental Pain Management (2.5 CE)

This webinar provides a concise, evidence-based overview of when and how opioid analgesics should be used in dental practice. It highlights safe prescribing, risk assessment, and recognizing signs of opioid misuse while comparing opioid and non-opioid options for acute dental pain.

Role of Peripherally-Acting Non-Opioid Analgesics in Pain Management (2.5 CE)

A focused look at today’s preferred first-line dental pain therapies: NSAIDs, acetaminophen, and combination therapy. This session emphasizes maximizing non-opioid strategies, understanding contraindications, and implementing opioid-sparing pain management plans aligned with current guidelines.

Use of Illicit Substances, Illicit Use of Licit Substances, and Their Dental Implications (3 CE)
